Research on the relationship between dynamic capability of enterprise technology innovation, fulfillment of social responsibility and high-quality corporate development

Abstract

High-quality development is an important way to build a new development pattern in China, and technological innovation is the key to forming new advantages in development for enterprises that elevate the fulfillment of social responsibility to a strategic level. Based on data related to high-tech enterprises in China from 2012 to 2019, this paper sought to examine the relationship between technological innovation, different social responsibility-bearing behaviors and high-quality development of enterprises from a dynamic perspective as well as the moderating effect of social responsibility on the relationship between innovation and high-quality development. The empirical results show that: first, the dynamic capability of technological innovation plays a significant role in promoting enterprise development, and this role has a certain lag. Second, the impact of social responsibility on high-quality development presents a non-linear trend, and the performance of different responsible behaviors varies greatly. Thirdly, taking social responsibility weakens the positive impact of the dynamic capability of innovation on enterprises' high-quality development. Therefore, enterprises should take technological innovation as the core and allocate the resource elements between it and social responsibility rationally in order to achieve maximize economic benefits.
