Abstract

The elevator brake is an important part to ensure the safe operation of the elevator, and its performance directly determines the safety of the whole machine. This paper describes a brake performance test scheme and test principle, and makes reliability test through the test device for the elevator brake, recording the suction and release voltage, the response time, the brake surface temperature and the delay time of mechanical parts on both sides after a specific number of brake action. The analysis of the characteristics of brake performance changes with time is helpful to further understand the safety condition of elevator brake, and provides a reference for the related research of brake performance.
