Abstract

Water of aeration zone plays an important role in water cycle, and is closely related to the agriculture, hydrology and environment. Because of its complex process in the groundwater flow, it is usually necessary to simulate or predict the groundwater flow problem by using numerical techniques. Discontinuous Galerkin methods can overcome the problems of the discretizationand the degree of freedom about standard Galerkin method. This article summarizes the development and the mathematical model of kinds of discontinuous Galerkin methods.
