Research on the Data Governance in Power Industry Based on Data Owner

Abstract

With the acceleration of digital transformation of electric power enterprises, the scale and complexity of data within electric power enterprises are increasing, and data quality and data value are becoming increasingly important concerns for enterprises. This study discusses its application in power industry governance based on the data owner concept. Data owner plays a very important role in the data governance system, and through the management and maintenance of the data domain, it can improve the quality and value of data, promote cross-departmental collaboration and communication across disciplines within the organization, and provide strong support for the digital transformation and data-based process of the enterprise to achieve data quality, accuracy and trustworthiness. This study builds a data quality online control model based on key technologies and methods of data owner in data governance application, including data owner identification, data quality assessment, work order closed-loop management and quality panorama visualization. Finally, the study concludes that the data governance model based on data owner can effectively improve the efficiency and quality of data governance in the electric power industry and further promote the digital transformation of the electric power industry.
