Abstract

This paper discusses the characteristics of big data and status of it in the field of English teaching, expounds the problems existing in current English teaching in vocational education, and analyses the ways to realize the optimal allocation of teaching resources, the transformation of teachers’ functions and roles, the development of individualized students and the teaching environment on the basis of big data. It aims to integrate classroom teaching with practical situations, truly transform students’ knowledge into practical English application skills and better serve their major.
