Abstract
The counter roller spinning process is an effective method to form large thin-walled cylindrical parts. By using the internal roller instead of the core mould, may solve the problem of high cost of the mould spinning and the failure of forming large-sized cylindrical parts. In order to study the mechanism of counter roller spinning and break through its precision control technology, the finite element method is used to analyse the effect of pass thinning ratio, feed rates, spinning roller angle and inter spinning roller fillet radius on roundness, straightness and wall thickness difference of spinning parts.
