Abstract
At present, China is facing many problems in public service supply including overall supply shortage, structural imbalance and low efficiency. Solving these problems requires the supply-side reform in the public service sector. On the basis of theories concerning synergetic, neo-public management and public choice, the paper explores to construct the demand-oriented and multi-entity-participation public service supply mode. With defining roles and functions of various entities, the paper is intended to offer an optimized path for local governments to supply public service more collaboratively.
