Abstract

The need for automation and digitization has led to a rapid evolution of internal logistics processes and systems. This paper presents the automation mode logistics activities in an assembly line, by integrating a robotic arm. For the integration of the robotic arm, several steps are followed, consisting in designing the assembly line and the robotic arm using the Process Simulate software, simulating the operation of the line for different scenarios for integrating the robotic arm and analysing them. The study is completed with the realization in the laboratory of the assembly line with automated logistics activities. At the end of the project, it is desired to use the automated assembly line in the university environment, for the formation of students' competencies in the field of use of digital techniques and industrial logistics.
