Abstract
Abstract With the gradual deepening of the development of Bohai Oilfield, JZ25-1 Oilfield is facing a series of engineering problems such as poor wellbore cleaning effect and difficulties in speed and efficiency improvement, with the main field of operations being large displacement wells. Based on the current research progress of synthetic drilling fluid and geological analysis of the block, BIODRILL-S system synthetic drilling fluid has been introduced into some of the 12-1/4 “well sections of the Dongying Formation. In terms of drilling fluid performance, it has good stability, lubricity, and inhibition; In terms of speed increase effect, it has significantly improved the failure of drilling, tripping, and casing operations, demonstrating good applicability; There is room for optimization in the collapse mechanism and compatibility direction with the mudstone in the lower section of East 2, and further strengthening of sealing performance is needed. The application of BIODRILL-S system synthetic drilling fluid in JZ25-1 oilfield has further improved the technical system of extended reach wells, providing extensive reference significance for future speed increase and horizontal displacement extension of extended reach wells.
