Abstract

AbstractBig data technology is widely used in many industries, as well as in the cross-border e-commerce industry. Product selection is of great significance to cross-border e-commerce companies, and the current data island problem, product homogeneity problem, and its failure to adapt to local conditions are commonly existed in cross-border e-commerce sellers’ product selection process, which hinder the operation and development of cross-border sellers. In response to these problems, this article proposes that big data technology should be used for data analysis of two dimensions of cross-border e-commerce platforms and cross-border e-commerce customers and combined with this aspect of using big data strategy exploration, in order to assist sellers in selecting products and promoting sales.KeywordsCross-border e-commerceBig data technologyIsolated data islandsProduct homogenizationLocalization of product selectionRanking
