Abstract

With the development of globalization, cross-cultural teaching has become an important topic in the field of education. In this context, TESOL strategy, as a teaching method, is widely used in cross-cultural teaching. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness and applicability of TESOL strategy in cross-cultural teaching, and put forward relevant teaching guiding principles. By adopting TESOL strategy, teachers can better meet students' language learning needs and promote the development of their language ability and intercultural communication ability. At the same time, TESOL strategy can help students better understand and adapt to the teaching environment in different cultural backgrounds. However, this study also found that TESOL strategy has some challenges and limitations in cross-cultural teaching. For example, teachers need to have professional knowledge and skills in cross-cultural teaching in order to effectively apply TESOL strategy. In addition, students from different cultural backgrounds may have different reactions and needs to TESOL strategies, and teachers need to flexibly adjust strategies to meet the individual differences of students.
