Abstract

The current tracking control method is an important indicator of the effectiveness of static var generator (SVG) in compensating the ineffective effect. New current control methods are constantly proposed and improved. Deadbeat control has good steady-state performance, but its dynamic response is slow. Combining deadbeat control with PI control can effectively improve the accuracy of reactive power compensation and improve the dynamic response speed of the system. On this basis, simulation modeling and experimental research are carried out. The effectiveness and reliability of the proposed control strategy are verified on the simulation and experimental results.
