Abstract
AIS is a ship automatic reporting system, which has great significance in ship navigation, collision avoidance and maritime supervision. In order to compensate for the delayed AIS data caused by the network communication being blocked and restricted by the AIS working mechanism, this paper compares and analyzes the accuracy and speed of near prediction, least squares estimation and particle filtering in AIS data prediction based on the actual data of AIS. The simulation results show that the prediction accuracy of ship AIS data based on particle filter algorithm is higher than that of linear prediction and least squares estimation, and the prediction speed is no less than the others, and particle filtering can deal with nonlinear conditions better.
