Abstract
With the rapid development of highways, asphalt concrete pavements with semi-rigid bases have also been widely used in highway construction in China. Because asphalt concrete pavement has good mechanical properties and good road performance, it greatly improves the road performance and safety performance, and it has good comfort. As the project is in soft land, the weak layer of the foundation is thick, the strength of the roadbed is insufficient, and easy to produce post-construction settlement or uneven settlement, these reasons may cause deformation of the asphalt pavement structure during road operation, and affect the mechanical properties and road performance of the road surface. Simulating the settlement of subgrade pavement by using finite element software modeling, we will study the effects of soil thickness, pavement section location and consolidation time on the settlement deformation of pavement.
