Abstract

The reclosing time of the power transmission line of the power plant may directly affect the power transmission capacity of the power plant. When the transmission capacity is limited by the single-phase permanent fault or out-phase fault on double-circuit line on the same tower, the setting of the reclosing time is very important. In order to ensure that the power transmission capacity of the power plant is not reduced due to the unreasonable setting of the reclosing time, a mathematical model is established to consider the influence of the reclosing time on the transient stability of the system. The EEAC (Extended Equal-Area Criterion) transient stability quantitative analysis theory is used to study the transient stability characteristics of power plant delivery system considering reclosing time. And a reclosing time setting method for power plant delivery system considering transient stability constraints is proposed. The actual system simulation shows that the method can quickly determine the reasonable interval of the reclosing time, and ensure that the reclosing time setting value meets the system transient stability requirements.
