Abstract

In view of the weak area identification problem which has great influence on the transient stability of power grid after power grid failure, this paper established a weak area identification model of new energy grid considering operation risk and transient stability constraints. By deducing the identification parameters of root fault and weak area of new energy grid, and putting forward the weakness index of new energy grid line, it is used to identify root fault equipment and weak area in new energy grid. The IEEE-39 node test system is selected as a case to analyze. The results show that the proposed weak region identification method considering transient security and stability constraints can effectively identify the possible weak regions in new energy grid.
