Abstract

In the face of road passenger transportation, the industry suffered impacts caused by: (1) the rapid development of high-speed rail and civil aviation; (2) the sharp growth of private cars; and, (3) the worker tide change resulting from the adjustment of industrial structure. Although the management departments provided a series of policies and implemented intensive management, some problems - such as the low service quality level and the lack of leading enterprises - still stand out in the road passenger transportation industry. In view of this, this paper starts with the review and reflection on the intensification policy of road passenger transportation development - such as market access/exit and road passenger transportation pricing - and analyzes the needs and the mode of road passenger transportation enterprise intensive development. It then puts forward policy suggestions.
