Abstract

In order to improve the safety of expressway traffic operation and evaluate the real-time safety of expressway traffic flow, this paper starts from the microscopic traffic flow and analyzes the running state of the vehicle while driving on the expressway, then established a unified microscopic and macroscopic traffic flow model. The driver's reaction time is used as the evaluation index of expressway traffic flow real-time safety, and the corresponding evaluation standard is established based on the principle of probability statistics to identify the risk of rear-end collision accidents on expressway. Finally, through software simulation experiment and the maximum response time of drivers, the real-time safety of traffic flow under different vehicle states is evaluated and analyzed. The research results show that the model can effectively identify the real-time traffic safety of expressway.
