Abstract

In order to solve the voltage problem of power grid after a high proportion of renewable energy is connected in the new type power system, a reactive power optimization and voltage control method considering gravity energy storage is proposed. This paper analyzes the power model and the reactive power compensation principle of gravity energy storage theoretically, establishes the mathematical models of reactive power optimization and voltage control with the minimum total deviation of node voltage as the objective function. Taking power flow, system operation conditions and energy storage power as constraints, the particle swarm optimization algorithm based on competition theory is used to solve the equation, and the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method are verified by simulation examples.
