Abstract

The steady state voltage characteristics of the half-wavelength power transmission (HWPT) line is analyzed and a multi-objective optimization method is presented for its voltage control. The voltage profile along HWPT line fluctuate significantly with different loads and power factors, while easily resulting in partial overvoltage when overload or low power factor. An adaptive weighting coefficient selection method is proposed to consider each optimization objective under different operating conditions. Simulation results demonstrate that the voltage control method can ensure voltage safety and to reduce active power loss for the HWPT system.
