Abstract

Feeder Automation (FA) system is becoming more and more mature on fault location and isolation, but it is slightly insufficient in power supply recovery. A power supply recovery scheme that can be used for distribution network with multi-connection and multi-branch is proposed in order to further improve the power recovery capability of distributed FA system and solve the tricky problem of power supply recovery due to different location of the fault point. The proxy terminal completes the power recovery work in the non-fault area by closing single contact switch, single inter-connection switch with load cutting on the basis of load evaluation system and topology model for the waiting recovery area, which realizes the recovery of power supply in the non-fault area. The control strategy and algorithm are verified by Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS).
