Abstract

In view of the problems existing in the current feeder automation (FA), such as over reliance on communication, difficulty in security protection, and self adaptation of fixed value parameters, etc, an adaptive coincidence FA method is proposed in this paper considering the processing of single phase to ground fault. Based on the transient characteristic detection principle of single-phase grounding, the strategy of tripping after loss of voltage and over current, quick break and latching after closing and over current, tripping and latching after short-time power supply is formulated. Combined with substation protection, FA logic is designed to achieve location, isolation and non fault area power supply restoration of large current fault and single phase to ground fault in multi branch and multi contact distribution network based on primary and secondary integrated equipments of distribution network. Finally, a simulation test platform based on real time digital simulator (RTDS) is built to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
