Abstract

Cui, Z. and Yang, J., 2019. Research on ocean big data service technology in distributed network environment. In: Li, L.; Wan, X., and Huang, X. (eds.), Recent Developments in Practices and Research on Coastal Regions: Transportation, Environment and Economy. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 98, pp. 141–145. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.Ocean big data has the characteristics of distributed acquisition and integrated application. Under the distributed network environment, ocean big data service technology is an important way to avoid information barriers, information islands, and repeated construction. From the perspective of marine information infrastructure construction and demand orientation, the dialectic relationship between ocean data sharing and information service is demonstrated. The technical method of constructing spatial abstract coordinate reference datum based on unified spatial-time digital earth model is proposed. Three key technologies are mentioned here, such as oceanographic monitoring and survey data standardization format network release, marine reanalysis product data active push, and marine business data customization in a distributed network environment, which can realize a distributed network characterized by multicenter, multinode. The ocean big data service model is proposed under the environment. Experiments under the special network environment of China's digital ocean information infrastructure framework have verified its feasibility combined with the construction of Smart Ocean and proposed the future development direction and research focus.
