Abstract
Based on the theory of heat transfer in porous media and the basic theory of underground water seepage, the mutual coupling mechanism between the temperature field and seepage field is discussed in the pumping or recharging process of the aquifer thermal energy storage. Then a hydrothermal coupling analysis model is established for simulating the regular pattern of heat-flow migration in the confined aquifer, and it is applied to the double-well case. Through the analysis of heat balance, we have obtained the last curves of the temperature field changes with the water temperature as well as the heat-affected region under the process of water pumping or recharging.
