Abstract

In this paper, a new electromagnetic radiation method for miniaturized antenna is adopted. Conventional antennas rely on the resonance of electromagnetic waves and are generally larger than one tenth of the wavelength of electromagnetic waves. A key challenge facing the current antenna is to further reduce the size of antenna. By introducing a new type of electromagnetic radiation mechanism, the size of antenna and antenna array can be miniaturized. The new antenna miniaturization mechanism discussed here, based on bulk acoustic wave mediated, utilizes a ferromagnetic-piezoelectric thin film resonator structure to successfully control the physical size of the antenna to the micron to nanometer level.
