Abstract

The traditional preservation and storage technology is relatively backward and can not meet the production needs. A monitoring system for fruit and vegetable storage environment is designed. This system includes two parts: upper computer and lower computer. The upper computer monitoring center is developed based on LabVIEW software, and the lower computer is controlled by AT89C51 single chip microcomputer. The system can accurately reflect the changes of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and other parameters of storage environment, and can timely respond to the control requests of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and other parameters. The test results show that the system realizes monitoring function of environmental parameters for fruits and vegetables storage and achieves the expected results, and has good application prospect.
