Abstract

In the cold area, solar-ground coupled heat pump with seasonal storage system (SGCHPSS) has got gradually recognition and application. In the paper, using the line heat source model, the temperature distribution of the soil and the heat influence radius of thermal storage wells under different soil conditions in the non-heating season were calculated by the FLUENT software. In addition, influence of different kinds of sand and sizes of sand on thermal conductivity of backfill materials was studied experimentally. The results show that heat first diffuses rapidly in the soil, and then it slows down as the heat storage time increases. By comparing the thermal storage of three typical soils, the results show that clay is a good thermal storage medium, and the heat influence radius of the thermal storage well in three typical soils is calculated. Besides, the smaller the size of the sand is, the better the performance of the material is. It provides a reference for backfill material selection.
