Abstract

Multi-terminal AC/DC hybrid distribution system can better meet the requirements of the development of future urban distribution system, but its flexible operation modes also pose new challenges to the control system. In this paper, different droop control strategies are analyzed from the perspective of small signal stability. The test results based on a modified IEEE 33-node test system show that Udc-P and Uac-Q droop curves have the advantages of small voltage fluctuation, short transient time and high level of satisfaction and stability, which is more suitable for multi-terminal AC/DC hybrid distribution systems.
