Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.As a new field of mass sports development, marine leisure sports is playing an important role in modern economic society and mass sports leisure life with its unique characteristics, functions and significance. Leisure sports activities, as an effective means to enhance people's physique in their spare time, have attracted more and more attention. During this period, China's tourism industry developed by leaps and bounds, becoming the largest tourism consumption market in the world today. Leisure sports industry will play a more and more significant role in social and economic development as a new industry and sunrise industry. Shandong Peninsula is surrounded by the sea on three sides, with long winding coastline and broad beaches, which has unique advantages in marine resources. This paper introduces the current situation of the development of the marine sports culture in Shandong Peninsula, points out the difficulties faced by the current development of the marine sports culture in Shandong Peninsula, as well as the Countermeasures for the development of the marine leisure sports in the blue economic zone of Shandong Peninsula.
