Abstract

The naissance of lifelong learning thoughts was early in Spring and Autumn Period in China, but it was formed as completed system after western countries’ relevant theories spread into China in 1980s. With economy developing dramatically and global environment changing rapidly, people need to spend less time to learn more knowledge than before. However, Chinese lifelong learning theory and practices developed slower than west countries until now. Therefore, this article will introduce Chinese ancient lifelong learning thoughts, and analysis current situation of lifelong learning. Finally, this article will conclude ways to improve lifelong learning.
