Abstract

Abstract The modeling and analysis of power line channels are key to ensuring efficient and reliable power line carrier communication. In the past, the modeling of power line channels mainly relied on analytical methods to obtain unit length power line parameters. This method has a complex calculation process and requires high mathematical skills. This article presents a fast channel modeling method for three core cables. Firstly, the transmission function of a two port network with parallel cables as transmission lines is established. Then, a detailed scheme for extracting RLGC using Q3D software is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated through simulation analysis. This scheme is suitable for modeling complex shaped conductors and can reduce computational complexity, demonstrating significant advantages.
