Abstract

Underwater explosions are distinguished from explosions in the air, and their environment is complex, making sensor systems more difficult to calibrate. In this paper, the calibration method of underwater shock wave pressure sensor system is studied. The dynamic pressure calibration method based on water shock tube is proposed to calibrate the system. The propagation characteristics of the pulse pressure signal in the water shock tube are studied. The water shock tube device suitable for the calibration of the underwater shock wave pressure sensor system is designed. In the end, the advantages of the water shock tube in measuring the underwater shock wave pressure are summarized.
