Abstract

The rocket sled test is a ground flight test in which the rocket sled glides along a dedicated track at high speed. The track profile irregularity has a great influence on the vibration speed and acceleration of the rocket sled. This paper proposes a method for calibration the track profile irregularity based on the rocket sled test track of Test and Measuring Academy of Norinco Group. Through theoretical calculation and finite element analysis, the vibration value of the rocket sled when sliding on the track with calibrated and on the track without calibrated is compared and the calibration method is evaluated. The results show that the calibration method of rocket sled track profile irregularity can significantly improve the accuracy of track and reduce the vibration of rocket sled.
