Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, a brakeforce distribution strategy of regenerative braking system for a four-wheel drive FSAE electric formula race car is proposed based on the electric formula car of Jilin University. By reasonably distributing the electric braking force and mechanical braking force, the energy efficiency can be improved without degrading the dynamic performance of the race car. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of this strategy are verified by simulations using Simulink and CarSim. KeywordsFSAERegenerative brakingBrakeforce distributionMotor control
