Abstract
The frequent occurrence of emergencies brings great danger to people’s life and property safety. Emergency supplies are an important guarantee for people in disaster areas to successfully pass the crisis. Therefore, how to dispatch all kinds of emergency supplies from each reserve point to each affected point in a scientific and reasonable way is the key to guarantee the survival of people in disaster areas. In this paper, we use ArcGIS software’s network analysis and other tools to study the dispatching of emergency supplies. We take the 24th Beijing Winter Olympic Games as a case to study the dispatching of emergency supplies for the venues of the Winter Olympic Games, and get the dispatching plan for each reserve to guarantee each venue through the process of data preparation, data processing and network analysis, which reflects the feasibility and convenience of ArcGIS in solving the dispatching problem.
