Abstract

“Communication Techniques in Railway Transit” is a specialized elective course for railway major students, which is strongly professional, and is difficult to learn for students without background of communication knowledge. This course involves wide scope of techniques. In order to induct the students to master the knowledge, the application of task-driven approach in this course was studied. By dividing the content of this course into knowledge points, teachers can set tasks corresponding to knowledge points. Students can master communication principles and operations of communication devices in railway system by survey and actual operation to realize every task. It was shown by teaching practice that task-driven approach could rise students’ interesting, overcome students’ fear for this course, improve active learning ability of students.
