Abstract

AbstractKnowledge Management (KM) as an essential thought and method in Knowledge Economy Age is effectively used in the corporate sector and introduced into the public sector with the rise of Public Administration. KM has developed as an important measure indicator for public sector performance in the public sector decision support and human resources management optimization. Compare with traditional management and E-government, KM with the boundary of Information technology and knowledge sharing, promotes the performance of public sector. KM will bring about the reform of public sector in the future, mainly displaying :(1) KM has the value concept of sharing and innovation which can effectively guides the construction of Learning Government; (2)To realize the development from E-government featured by low knowledge - low technology and based on data management to KM featured by high knowledge - high technology; (3) KM, as the important government policy tool, will effectively serve the development of human resource management of public sector.
