Abstract
Non-contact seals of a positive displacement pump for pumping of fluid are considered. Experimental studies confirmed the validity of application of non-contact seals in the form of a stepped comb. Empirical dependences of changes in fluid flow during forward and reverse movement of the piston are proposed.
