Abstract
The technology for automatic digital thermal diagnostics of mechanical transmission components is presented using the example of gearbox bearings. The diagnostic criterion is substantiated, the problem of indirect determination of the temperature in the friction zone is solved, taking into account the influence of adjacent heat sources. Thermal imaging observation of the gearbox operation confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed diagnostics. Keywords transmission, bearing, testability, automatic diagnostics, thermal diagnostics
