Abstract

A method of determining the parameters of the car suspension has been developed, which allows taking into account the influence of the main characteristics of the suspension. In particular, the influence of static deformation, nonlinearity parameter, and such external factors as the movement of a car over rough terrain, stability of movement are taken into account. Mathematical models of vertical oscillations - dynamics of the sprung part of the vehicle with non-linear force characteristics - have been improved for the specified method. With this aim, a mathematical apparatus was developed for the analytical research of the influence of vertical oscillations on traction-speed characteristics, performance, smoothness, and stability of movement.
