Abstract
When changing the load modes of gas internal combustion engines, the efficiency and economy of operation of such engines change significantly. The article discusses five main modes of operation of a gas internal combustion engine: start-up mode, idle mode, average (optimal) stroke mode, maximum (full) stroke mode, high speed mode (acceleration, acceleration). The article also discusses the parameters of the internal combustion engine: coefficient of performance, specific fuel consumption, excess air coefficient, degree of severity. Keywords: start mode, idle mode, medium mode, full flow mode, extreme conditions mode, excess air coefficient
