Abstract

A stand for low-temperature wear testing of tribological couplings with powder coatings is developed. The tribological properties of materials of friction pairs of mechanisms operated at low temperatures are analyzed, and the process of their wearing away is studied. Dependences of the temperature change of the friction unit during the cold start of the mechanism are determined. The patterns of wear of the coating and the counterbody are studied. Keywords: tribological coupling, sliding friction, wear-resistant powder coating, counterbody, testing, wearing away, low temperature, wear. g.g.vinokurov@iptpn.ysn.ru
