Abstract
Description of pipe tee forging process on special three‐slide press has been presented in this paper. Employment of three‐slide forging press make possible to get drop forging without flash with three cavities. Such process is characterized by lower material consumption than traditional forging processes on forging presses and hammers. Results of three dimensional numerical simulation and experimental research of analysed process have been shown. Comparisons of force parameters and material flow have been made. Good agreement between theoretical and experimental results has been obtained.
