Abstract
According to the production requirements of a packaging production line in a distillery, this article designed a suction tray gantry with a width of 1922mm, a length of 5000mm, and a height of 940mm using Solidworks software. Through ANSYS Workbench, the performance advantages and disadvantages of the gantry made of structural steel and aluminum alloy under the maximum load of 100Kg required by the enterprise are analyzed. Finally, through the comparison of their stress, total deformation, and total weight, it is concluded that the total weight of the gantry made of aluminum alloy material is about 660kg lighter than that of the gantry made of structural rigid material when the difference between the stress and total deformation is not significant, and the cost is cheaper. Therefore, the aluminum alloy material is finally selected to make the gantry.
