Research of electric resistance surfacing (welding-on) of cylindrical steel and cast iron samples with low-carbon low-alloyed filler wire

Abstract

In this paper, the possibility of applying the technology of electric resistance welding by wire (ERWW) of the various cylindrical parts surfaces, which make up a considerable amount of the total repaired products volume, is considered. The possibilities of using low-alloyed low carbon wires to recover steel and cast iron machine parts are also shown.
