Abstract
According to the disadvantages of manual participation in the Surakarta chess games, the necessity of an online platform system of Surakarta chess is presented in the paper. The online platform system can accomplish the automatic game of Surakarta chess. In the system, the capture algorithm is a key and important technology based on the network platform. The paper introduces three basic elements of Surakarta chess and gives out a storage structure for the computer platform system. By using the storage structure, the representation of board position is provided and the capture circular queue is built. Then the capture algorithms are implemented and the chess rules are realized finally. The experimental results show that this storage structure is efficient and reliable. The capture algorithms which run accurately can be applied to the application of Surakarta chess online platform system in the computer games.
