EWAN USNR THE AUTHOR:serves as Chief, Defense Contract Administration Services Office, Ordnance Aerophysics Laboratory, Daingerfield, Texas. The Writer, as a Reserve Naval Officer and Civilian, has been the Navy's manager of the Ordnance Aerophysics Laboratory since 1945. In World War II he was engaged in underwater Ordnance and Guided Missile Research, Development, Test and Evaluation.
