Abstract

In order to solve the problem that traditional optical electric field sensors are susceptible to temperature, charge drift and other internal and external factors in the measurement of DC electric field and ultra-low frequency electric field, an optical electric field sensor with rotating structure is proposed. The mathematical model of the output signal of the sensor is theoretically analyzed and deduced, and the structural design scheme of the sensor is given, and the experimental verification is carried out. The simulation analysis and experimental verification results show that the rotating optical electric field sensor has good linearity, and can improve the measurement accuracy and stability of the sensor when measuring DC electric field and ultra-low frequency electric field.
