Abstract

The aim of this text is to discuss the mythical representations of the guarani mbya culture as the references of a traditional education. It refers to the mythical contexts as tools to ordain the Indians’ knowledge and learning in the traditional symbolic universe. The cyclical time, which characterizes the mythical culture, expresses events and rituals that hold the subjects together and committed to the social life in its several dimensions of understanding.
