The Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology (AMSER) had an extremely successful meeting at the AUR in Austin, Texas, in April 2006. The meeting commenced on Thursday, April 6, with the AMSER board meeting where three new members—Nancy McNulty, MD, Holly Gil, and Mark Mullins, MD—were voted onto the board. Dr. Mullins will be the program chair for the AUR in 2008 and is currently treasurer. The other current AMSER officers are President: Petra Lewis, MD, Vice President and Program Chair: Janet Neutze, MD, and Secretary Holly Gil. The committee chairs are as follows: Membership Committee, Joshua Becker, MD; Electronic Communications, James Choi, MD; Rules and Bylaws, Lorranie Shapeero, MD; and Education and AMSER Shared Resources, Kitt Shaffer, MD. Plans to increase the membership of AMSER were discussed at length at both the board and business meetings. Dr. Amorosa also presented the significant progress that her team has made on the RSNA World Wide Web grant made to AMSER members to develop multidisciplinary teaching cases on the Web.
